Description:
A Landmark Development completed by Walls in conjunction with Trinity College June 2011.
Trinity Central, located on Pearse Street, Dublin 2 is a building incorporating a new home for a Biosciences research facility for Trinity College plus Grade A office space and prominent ground floor retail, encompassing a new a dynamic entrance to Pearse Train and DART Station.
Pearse Station is the single busiest railway station operated by Iarnród Eireann in terms of passenger numbers, which reach over 9.3 million annually, and its importance is projected to increase significantly under the Transport 21 initiative with the construction of a linked underground station on the Interconnector route and an expanded DART and InterCity rail network.
Trinity Central is bringing great vibrancy to Pearse Street and with the significant ground floor retail shopping concourse providing key amenities for local residents and the College population, it has dramatically changed and rejuvenated the streetscape.
The accommodation is set out over an 8 storey over triple basement structure of approximately 20,654 sq. m. (222,320 sq. ft.) of academic space and 9,130sq. m. (98,275sq. ft.) of commercial space.
Amongst the high profile tenants, secured by the Walls Group are Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (HMH) the US education publisher, who are due to take occupation of their office space extending to 4,180 sq. m (44,993 sq. ft) in July with the balance of the office space under negotiation.
The ground floor retail units range in size from 79 sq. m to 267 sq. m. and are attracting an array of fine retailers to include shops, cafes and restaurants.
Walls have engaged Jones Lang LaSalle as agents for the retail and this space is ready for immediate occupation. Stephen Murray and Rita Carney are looking after all enquiries and are contactable on 6731600 or rita.carney@eu.jll.com.
